Dlvr.it is a useful web service which allows users to automatically publish their blogs posts on different social networks including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIN and more. Dlvr.it uses blog’s RSS feeds to update different social networks. You can manage the time on which you want the service to check your RSS feeds and update connected social networks. And the best thing about this service is that its free and really easy to setup.
To get started, you must sign up for a free account which takes few seconds. Just enter your email address and password in the fields provided and click on the Sign Up button.
After signing up, it redirect you to the setup page where you can follow step by step instructions on how to setup your account and publish blogposts on different social networks. Just enter the feed URL of your blog in the field provided, select when the service should start posting content on your account and click Next. As in our case, we selected “Post the next time a new item is published” which will automatically update Facebook, Twitter or any other social network selected when a new post is published.
Next it will ask you to select the network where you want to publish blog posts.
Clicking on the icon will ask you to authorize Dlvr.it to update your social networks as soon as the blog is updated and will redirect you to your Dlvr.it dashboard where you can see all the connected accounts.
You can even monitor your account statistics like how many followers you have, how many clicked on your post, popular posts in past 7 days, which social network brought you most hits and much more.
Users can even integrate Dlvr.it with Google Analytics to get detailed information about your visitors, browser used etc. To add Google Analytics, click on Route Settings and go to Tracking tab. There you can add the Google Analytics tracking code.
If you want, you can even schedule posts and update social networks on a specific time if you want. Just go to Post tab and there you will be able to add specific date and time to schedule updates.
In order to setup any other account, just click on Add Route on dashboard.
From sources box, click on Add and select existing RSS Feeds if you want to use the existing blog or website. Click on Next and save source.
Now, its time to setup the destination which is supposed to be the social network where the updates will be published. Just click on Add from destination box and select the network you want to add. In our case, we select Facebook. Just connect with Facebook and you are good to go.

It’s a great tool and I use it for my blog. But what the problem is with dlvr.it, when it comes to Facebook, is that when a user ‘likes’ your post (that’s being published on your wall) it doesn’t automatically like the blog post itself. This is because of the different URL’s or something like that (it must be something like that?). I also don’t know if there’s a service out there that actually makes the two URL’s the same, so Facebook will see it as the same piece of content. It’s a bit frustrating sometimes.
